Privacy Policy
Last updated: February 9, 2026
1. Introduction
Extract Hound is operated by Nullito LLC, a Texas limited liability company ("Nullito," "we," "our," or "us"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share information when you use our document extraction service (the "Service").
By using the Service, you agree to this Privacy Policy.
2. Information We Collect
A. Account Information
When you create an account, we collect:
- Email address
- Encrypted/hashed password
- Account preferences and settings
B. Payment Information
Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store full card numbers or CVV on our servers. Stripe processes payment information under its own privacy policy.
C. Usage and Technical Information
We collect information about how you use the Service, such as:
- Number of documents processed, processing timestamps, and output/export preferences
- Login and security events
- Device, browser, and network information (e.g., IP address, user-agent, approximate location derived from IP)
- Diagnostic data (e.g., error logs) necessary to operate and secure the Service
D. Support Communications
If you contact us, we collect the information you provide in your message (and any attachments you choose to send).
3. Document Handling and Extracted Output
A. Your Documents
When you upload a document for processing:
- We process the document to provide the extraction results you request.
- We do not store uploaded documents in long-term storage on our systems after processing completes.
Important note about transient handling: Like most online services, limited temporary copies may exist during processing (for example, in memory, short-lived caches, or system logs for reliability and security). We design the Service to minimize this.
B. Third-Party Processing
To provide document extraction, we may transmit your document (or relevant portions of it) to third-party AI processing providers that process content on our behalf and return structured results. These providers may retain and use request data for limited purposes (such as abuse prevention, security, and service reliability) as described in their terms and privacy policies.
C. Extracted Results
Extraction results are returned to you. Unless you choose to store results in your own systems, you are responsible for saving outputs you want to keep.
4. How We Use Information
We use information to:
- Provide, operate, and maintain the Service
- Process documents and return extraction outputs
- Manage accounts, subscriptions, and customer support
- Detect, prevent, and investigate fraud, abuse, and security incidents
- Improve features, performance, and user experience
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms
5. How We Share Information
We share information only as needed to run the Service, including with:
Service Providers (Processors)
- Authentication / database / hosting providers (e.g., Supabase)
- Payment processors (e.g., Stripe)
- AI processing providers (third-party model/API vendors)
- Analytics and advertising platforms (e.g., Vercel Analytics, Google Ads, Microsoft Advertising)

Legal and Safety
We may disclose information if we believe it's reasonably necessary to:
- Comply with law, regulation, legal process, or government request
- Protect the rights, safety, and security of Extract Hound, our users, or the public
- Prevent or address fraud or security issues
Business Transfers
If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
6. Cookies, Analytics, and Advertising Technologies
We use cookies and similar technologies to:

Analytics and Advertising
We use the following third-party services to measure the effectiveness of our advertising and understand how visitors use our site:
- Vercel Analytics: Collects anonymized usage data to help us understand site performance and user experience.
- Google Ads (gtag.js): Tracks conversions from Google Ads campaigns to measure advertising effectiveness. Google may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits. Learn more at Google's Privacy Policy.

These services help us understand which ads lead to signups and purchases, allowing us to improve our marketing. We do not sell your personal data to advertisers. You can opt out of personalized advertising through Google Ads Settings or Microsoft Privacy Dashboard.
7. Data Retention
We retain personal information only as long as necessary for the purposes described above, including:

- Correct inaccurate personal data
- Delete personal data (subject to exceptions)
